Rúrik traveling around Iceland

One morning in February 2022 I got a phone call from Rúrik Gíslason asking me if I was available for a fun project with him for Icelandair and Inspired by Iceland. He needed someone to travel with him around Iceland to film and make social media content from his adventures in specific parts of the country. Reykjanes Peninsula, the Westfjords, the north and the east.

After hearing the details about the project I was immediately interested and ended up saying yes to at least the first trip of four to the Reykjanes Peninsula. That one ended up being a lot of fun and a success regarding the content that I made out of it so we decided that I would come to the rest of the trips as well.

It’s safe to say that these trips are some of the most entertaining shoots I’ve been on since they involve a lot of traveling, activities and challenging environments to film in. All the things that I love.
